Amanda Simms

Amanda is the Communications Coordinator for the Office of Sorority and Fraternity Life. She grew up in Denham Springs, Louisiana, a town just outside of Baton Rouge. Before KU, she studied at the University of Louisiana Monroe, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Communication. She then pursued her Master of Arts in Strategic Communication at Southeastern Louisiana University. Amanda’s favorite part of working with KU SFL is the interaction and knowledge she gets to learn every day from staff and students. When she’s not at work you can find her on the trails with her dog Cooper or cozied up with a book.
