Biography

Kari serves as the Director of Sorority and Fraternity Life and currently as the Multicultural Greek Council advisors. In her role she is responsible for strategic planning, data gathering and analysis, assisting the SFL team to support, lead, engage, and inform students at the University of Kansas. Kari serves as a resource to both internal and external stakeholders for affairs related to sorority and fraternity life, such as students, families, faculty, staff, and community members. Kari has held numerous positions dedicated to advising, supporting, and overseeing various sorority and fraternity chapters and councils across five different university campuses since 2008.

Kari holds a bachelor's degree in public relations from Valparaiso University, a master’s degree in educational administration and leadership from the University of the Pacific and holds both the core and fraternity and sorority life certifications through the Higher Education Consortium for Student Affairs Certifications. Kari is a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and currently serves on their national leadership team.


Outside of work Kari enjoys spending time with her dog Cooper, being the best aunt she can be to her nephew, working out, outdoor adventures, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
