Biography

Lauren Griffin serves as the Program Coordinator for Student Learning and Risk Reduction in the Office of Sorority and Fraternity Life at the University of Kansas. In her role, she supports chapter holistic learning, civic and community engagement, belonging initiatives, and risk management education.

Lauren earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Texas Tech University, with minors in Technical Writing and Secondary Education. She also holds a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of North Texas.

She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and actively serves on several committees within the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors (AFA).

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Lauren is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that foster student development, leadership, and belonging. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, watching horror movies and reality tv, spending time with friends and family, and hanging out with her cat, Duckie.
